No photo finish this week.

The lap top is still not working and all of my photos are trapped in in. Well, not all of them. I do have some in the computer upstairs and stored in the camera, thank God. I'll get the camera out next week and take some more.

We had a real monsoon last night, finally. It has been threatening for over a week now, but until last night there has only been clouds and wind. When I left church last night it was really storming. The rain was coming down hard! Thankfully someone was kind enough to drive me to my car in the parking lot. It was a slow drive home on the freeway. Down to 35 miles per hour at times, but thankfully I made it home safely.

So this morning I am making my rounds to the blogs I read and then I have to shower and go to bed because I work tonight. I was supposed to work on Wednesday night, but I was cancelled (one of the wonderful and terrible things about working as a nurse). I work Fri, Sat, and Sun night this week and hopefully that will remain as my set schedule for some time. Up until now I had been working only 2 nights a week, but now I will be working 3 due to the economy and all. There are bills to be paid! And now I will be saving for a new laptop as well.

Computers! I hate it when they don't work right, and I hate it when you can't get to your photos when you want them.

it's like trying to get through life with one of your hands tied behind your back when a computer is down.

hope you're back in full swing soon

Oh man...I'm sorry to hear about your computer!!!!

We had our monsoon on Tuesday evening....it only lasted about 30 minutes...very fast moving thankfully. Maybe it slowed down and finally got to you yesterday. :)

Computers are wonderful when they work, and the spawn of the devil when they don't.

I hope you have a good night tonight... with happy patients.

I am tired of the monsoon season! I know we don't have it as bad as other places but I am afraid the mosquitoes will carry my computer away!

Cheers! Thanks for dropping by my blog earlier today; I didn't even realize I was Saucy this week! LOL I get so caught up in hopping over to check out the Featured Blog of the day that I don't notice the stuff in the side bars! Bad SITSta, I know! :)

I love your blog design - the birdie is soooo cute! My blog, she is a wee bit boring, design-wise. I've gotta do something about that one of these days....

Hoping you have a nice, peaceful night at work and a miraculously functioning laptop for the weekend!

Cheers!

Kendra, I keep seeing you wherever I go, and now that I am a SITSta (is that right) of a few days, I thought I'd drop a comment to you. If we are visiting the similar places, we must have something in common. Being bedridden, and shut off from the world, I keep a back-up computer, and camera. I refuse to say how many of either that I have. LOL

Hope you'll visit my blog since you are a nurse. I have myasthenia gravis, and am living my "life with *My* Myasthenia" before the world for several reasons, but mainly for the world to learn about this rare disease. I've been hospitalized every four weeks for five days of IVIG treatments for over a year now. Scan through my blog, and see how I treat my nurses! They ROCK!!

Yes, I definitely want a MacBook Air. I really do dream about that computer and that is sooo sad. To top it all off, Mac has been migrately the MobileMe product onto their website and this has made it nearly impossible for me to get my email. I used to be able to get it from any computer and now I have to get it from computers with Safari or Firefox browsers only. That leaves out just about everybody!
