Sorry I haven't posted much lately. I've been praying and reading the Bible A LOT! I'm still really bummed about the up coming church meeting about the possible merger. I keep coming back to Ezekiel 34:2. If we have trusted our pastor to lead us up to this point, shouldn't we trust him to lead us now? Arrgh!! I have been praying that his motives are pure and not selfish. I'm praying that I will not be selfish.

I will pray, too...You know God has a plan for you and he has brought you this far...He'll bring you all the way. When I am afraid, which is a lot...I try to face it head on...Is there a way you can volunteer to be a part of this...in some way. Then you could feel like you have some control and God would use you for His good purpose. I will keep praying...Thanks, for your kind words and I am sure you are the best nurse where ever you are. :)
Trust is so very hard sometimes. Praying is a great activity when one has doubts(like me, every other day).
HUGE HUGS!
He'll never give you more than you can handle (although sometimes it feels like an awful lot). Sometimes I look back at a situation and can't believe I wasted so much time worrying about it...God has a way of working things out for us in a way we never imagined....even better than we could have ever imagined. I pray that this will work out something like that for you.(Not the part where you feel like you wasted your time....but the part where it all works out)
I hope I said that right....I'm tired...I could be babbling.....
Kendra, Thanks so much for your comments on my blog. I thoroughly enjoyed my sits day in the sun. I totally want to read some of your blog, but I'm braindead, therefore my ability to comprehend is nil. I'll be back later after some much needed sleep! Blessings!
I have been reading your Journey Of Faith. Fascinating. I hate mergers. I don't like change, bu I am sure your pastor will lead you the right way
BTW, I have nominated you for an award...come and see! :)
I will keep you in my prayers over the merger. It's hard isn't it? We find a place where we have a refuge and comfort. It's hard to open ourselves up to knowns. But what I know for sure is that GOD IS GOOD!!! And where two or more are gathered in His name, there He will be also. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is for it to all be IN HIS NAME!
And it really is OK to feel and little disconcerted by change. He loves us right where we are!!!
Be blessed.
Jen
I will pray for you too. We went through a whole church split and it was not pretty, but things are beginning to be a whole lot better now.
